You may have set aside some money in your bank account, on the assumption that it will cover your funeral. Good idea?
If investments are doing well and are rising more than the rate of inflation, then you would hope your savings would be sufficient to cover your funeral. But in the last decade interest rates have been at their lowest, so any money invested may have not kept up with rising costs.
